Murine Inc is contract placement company who's philosophy Is to openly disclose hourly rate and mark-up. In addition to placement, Murine also will act as primary consultant to special staffing and project Management needs. We are doing research of outsourcing and Tele-work. We are having a major two- phased plan for growth. Phase One - brick and mortar consulting company with emphasis on recruiting For Time and material consulting for on-site projects and tele-work. Phase Two - Add on intelligent web-site with XML based resume requirement Matching and tele-work project management, source control. Some of the expansion can be financed from marketing and sales of Brick and Mortar Business. Initially the business of Murine is to offer expertise and to market our pool of talent to bay area companies where IT talent search is a high priority. Focus is given to market very experienced IT Professional Consultants. In order to offer low mark-up rates we expect them to be the best in their field of expertise. We offer occasional full time placement where there is immediate synergy between a start-up company and IT engineers. We believe there will be a huge success in getting priority access to the Creme de la creme of IT engineers. Full disclosure is a taboo in the current market environment, despite most experienced Engineers know or suspect the figure. Knowing this figure is kept from the consultants Causing lack of trust and lack of good-will towards the agency. Nondisclosure will not benefit Murine materially. Discord with agencies for this very reason is a standard business practice. Our goal is to alleviate these voices of discord and via openness and trust access the best engineer at hand. Typically a good engineer is too busy to self-market himself at the same time he is also leery of much of the agency business practices. Like most successful business is America there is a void and we are going to fill a Need. I am positive of the huge impact Murine will be in the Engineering community. Background The founder of Murine Inc is a contract engineer for 11 years and has been in IT Industry, for 20. He has in depth knowledge of the recruiting and IT Contract marketplace, as well as in depth technology experience in the latest of Web technologies. Eva Jakab, VP of marketing is currently finishing a project with Placement Pro in San Francisco. Murine Inc past client list include; IBM, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, MCI, CISCO, Charles Schwab, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Chemical Bank Murine currently has no preferred vendor relationship with any of these Companies. Advantage of Murine Inc Currently Bay area companies are hungry to get the best engineers and contract rates are inflated. We think we can offer a remedy for both. The best IT engineer's are looking for self- marketing and/or an agency with full disclosure. Self-marketing only for one engineer is not practical. The concept of the company is that we have taken the burden of marketing the best engineers but offer the full disclosure of mark-up and liberal contract terms. Initially we only will take 1099 contracts. In later phases this will change. From personal experience Andras Nagy has developed a company's Credo of Business Conduct. (a separate document) Company reserves the right to adjust the markup as market dictates but it will always disclose it to the Engineers. Initially the markup can be quite small to get going and attract the best engineers and still afford Murine to make a profit. Contract recruiting is a very lucrative , volume business. The built in annuity Is the fact that after a contractor has been placed for every hour he works Murine Inc makes money. The contract length is usually based on the quality of the engineer hence if we strive to be just , fair and open in our practices we shall have the reward from the best engineer being open and willing to work with us. I see no difficulty in getting companies enter into vendor relationship with us if we provide the best engineers. Agency practices and quality of recruiters is quite sub-standard now. We are positive that we can compete with the older more established businesses by raising our standard. In IT recruiting the ""product"" i.e. engineers are the most precious assets of the company. We will never to forget that.
