United States, Ka... "I use/used a White Paper on the Internet Recruiting Industry as a resource for my R&D. It is called ""e*Cruiting: From Job Boards to MetaMarkets"" and was prepared by THOMAS WEISEL PARTNERS, Merchant Banking, dated May 25, 1999. I have an existing www site and online system that I have been using for nearly 1 year. The new business described below is a dramatic evolution of my existing site/system. PSSJOBS.com, “SLAY THE MONSTER” WWW Site & JOBPAL.com, “SLAY THE MONSTER 2” WWW Site These two www sites are virtually the same. The names are different to distinguish different client company target markets. Both are stand-alone www sites that are designed to attract people seeking new/better jobs and employers seeking new/better employees. PSSJOBS.com targets and is restricted to corporate recruiting and recruiters “only”, while JOBPAL.com is exclusively for consulting firms, agency, and independent recruiters. The features, benefits, and functionality are superior to any site of its kind on the www today. Job Seekers have full job search capabilities as well as profile & resume posting, record activation/de-activation, edit/update record, resume writing service, resume blasting service, job hunting products/tools, business opportunities, consumer products, company profiles, direct application submission, free www site and email (first 30 days), career assessment, salary survey, career fair listings, user group & associations, city to city comparison, option for complete anonymity/confidentiality and more. Once more, it is free to the job seeker. Employers may search for candidates seeking new/better jobs. (Version 2 includes an entire www search for matching job seeker.) A complete profile is reported to the recruiter, in addition to a full resume. System also has features, benefits, and functionality that extend far beyond any/all existing www sites of its kind. Features include the most sophisticated skill search, automatic matching processing, and custom search/report generator to perform custom queries, to date. Employers have complete access and functionality to the www site’s database via their own unique www site (front-end) interface. This seamless interface may be added to their own company’s existing www site or they may choose a fully functional, customized, stand-alone www site (front-end). Both “front-ends” interface the employer’s own “private” database as well as the PSSJOBS.com or JOBPAL.com database. Other features to both the job seeker and employer include the ability to generate revenue with their site by selling industry-related products as well as consumer products via their own “front-end” with full e-commerce functionality. WWW site does all of the work. Here is where I am at...The new system ...
