Canada, 0... "EXECUTIVE SUMMARY RamSoft is developing a niche business in the diagnostic imaging equipment market. We have already carved out a new market for UltraIQ – medical ultrasound quality control software. With sales of US $33,000 in the first half of 2000, our patented product is significant in establishing RamSoft’s presence in the growing diagnostic ultrasound market. Ultrapro PACS, our new product, replaces x-ray and ultrasound film with computer images. PACS, Picture Archiving and Communication Systems, allows the radiologist to provide an accurate diagnosis in a shorter time. From a remote location, a radiologist can examine the patient’s images and direct the technologist. Live ultrasound video can be viewed by the radiologist over a high-speed broadband link. Digital images can be emailed over Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, and anywhere in the world through the Internet. Encryption and digital signatures protect the images from tampering and verify authenticity. Images are stored on CDs or DVDs for future reference and permanent archival. Our connectivity solutions fill a void with OEM customers by connecting digital images and patient information from many imaging modalities irrespective of the device manufacturer by adhering to the DICOM (Digital Image Communication in Medicine) standard. This open standard restricts a dominant vendor from monopolizing the marketplace with a proprietary system. The medical ultrasound PACS market is estimated at US $200 Million worldwide. We expect to obtain 1% of that market by the end of 2002. We have a diagnostic x-ray quality control system (XrayIQ) in “beta” testing at two hospitals. Our revolutionary product exploits the emergence of notebook PCs in the x-ray service industry. By mid 2001, it will be ready to market and will account for a significant percentage of our sales in 2002. Executing our plans will allow us to: a) capitalize on our initial success with UltraIQ with increased sales b) carve out our 1% share of the US $200 million ultrasound PACS market within two years c) introduce the XrayIQ to the global x-ray test equipment market in 2001 d) establish RamSoft as a significant OEM supplier of all of our products We are focused on exceeding US $1 Million in revenue by the end of 2002 with pre-tax profits of over US $200,000! CONCLUSION We will exceed US $1 Million in annual sales within two years by successfully executing our plans. We are confident that RamSoft can achieve this goal and capture 1% of the global ultrasound PACS market, 90% of the global ultrasound quality control software market and 3% of the global x-ray test equipment market. A US $500,000 cash injection will enable us to: a) Establish an x-ray calibration, test and research facility in Toronto and launch the XrayIQ (x-ray quality control system) worldwide by mid 2001. b) Exploit the growing ultrasound PACS market with an effective marketing campaign c) Develop a second generation UltraIQ (ultrasound quality control software) to capture major OEM ultrasound service engineers. d) Build a significant presence in the global diagnostic imaging market through a worldwide network of dealers and distributors. e) Grow our dedicated and committed team of employees. By 2002, RamSoft will be a vital supplier to many OEM customers and well positioned for continued expansion for many years to come. Thus, we will be positioned as an attractive acq...
